Choice of Colour Affects Hypnotherapy

A new study involving a colour test showed that people who choose positive colours were nine times more likely to respond than those who chose a negative colour or no colour at all.

These findings could be used to predict responders to treatment.

Peter Whorwell worked with a team of researchers from the University of Manchester UK, to carry out the study using a colour chart called the ''Manchester Colour Wheel', which allows patients to choose colours that have previously been defined as positive, neutral or negative.

Virtual Gastric Band: New York Success

Marc Carlin and what CBS-TV calls Lap Band Hypnosis got profiled on the 11 O’clock news on CBS-TV. The news show sent a crew over to Marc Carlin’s Midtown East office to film an interview with him. They delved into his successful weight loss program that utilizes the hypnotic techniques where he uses his clients’ imagination to experience all the benefits of a shrinking stomach without any of the dangerous side effects of a medical surgical procedure.

This program was developed in the UK by clinical hypnotherapist, Sheila Granger and was introduced into the United States by Marc Carlin and Sheila Granger in October of 2010. Volunteers Needed in Boston for Virtual Gastric Band

The Boston study group will be conducted by Myra Durkin, MSW, LICSW who attended Sheila Granger's Virtual Gastric Band training in October in New York city along with Erika Slater of Free at Last Hypnosis.

Just as a reminder there is no charge if you're picked to participate in the study, but you need to register to be considered. Weight Loss Hypnosis procedures similar to the Virtual Gastric Band usually command $1,500 - $3,000 so FREE is worth considering.

The study is best for people who are obese or have tried losing weight but without success.
