As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I'm due to speak at this year's HypnoExpo 2012 event. For those of you who haven't yet decided whether to attend or not, I've just been sent the latest press release which is detailed below:
Hypnosis Conference to offer a Live Stream Broadcast!
Daytona Beach, Florida May 16th – 22nd
Certified hypnosis professionals, counselors and therapists from around the globe will, collectively attend a Hypnosis conference either in person or from afar in real time! Thanks to the wonders of streaming technology, thousands of enthusiasts, experts and budding practitioners will share in the hypnotic wonders of an international training and education event streamed live into their homes and offices on May 18th, 19th and 20th, 2012.
The complete conference catalog and registration information can be viewed or downloaded at
www.imdha.com or
www.iact.org. Call 570.869.1021 to request a catalog. Early reservations by April 11th are recommended to secure the lowest rates available.
Educational presentations qualify for continuing education credits for members of the
International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association® and
the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.
Those who are interested in pain-relief, take especial note. The Continuing Hypnosis Education and Recreation conference will be co-hosted by the
International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association® (IMDHA) and
the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT). The conference will offer nearly 100 presentations by some of the most highly respected hypnosis educators in the field. In addition to the conference being simulcast via the web, a special Post Conference offering has been designed to meet the growing need for well-trained hypnosis professionals with specialty certification in hypnotic pain relief. The training will be co-taught by Michael Ellner and Daniel Cleary, two leaders in Hypnotic and Non-Pharmaceutical Pain Medicine.
According to Ellner: "An estimated 80 million Americans are living in chronic pain and are seeking relief. Dan Cleary and I will use the platform to prepare IMDHA-certified hypnosis and allied health care professionals to help these millions of potential clients take the unnecessary stress and suffering out of chronic pain." The verdict is officially in: the considerable scientific evidence
proves that hypnosis can help reduce, even eliminate, pain. "With the recent spate of bad news about pain-killers", says Ellner, "Now is the time for certified hypnosis professionals to take their rightful place in the armamentarium of pain treatment. And Dan and I are especially excited to be teaching this course in beautiful Daytona Beach!"
In it’s sixth year hosting an international educational conference in Florida,
HypnoExpo 2012 has grown exponentially, offering nearly 100 selections on hypnosis education for hypnotists, hypnotherapists, and complementary healthcare practitioners.
