Working as a hypnotherapist has given me a kick out of life; not only do I get to witness change in a patient’s health and lifestyle; but to be with them from the very beginning and to help them succeed in their weight loss is utterly satisfying.

But it’s not losing the weight which people struggle with, it is having the right mindset to keep it up and stay that healthy weight. I have helped almost 3,000 people shed a minimum of 2,000lbs in sessions, when totalled up is 61,000lbs – which is the equivalent of two tanks.

I am so proud of all of my patients of what they have achieved from their weight loss and am pleased to be there in the process.

Patients in a recent survey have recorded since their weight loss they have noticed: reduced blood pressure and blood sugar levels, an increase in confidence, self-esteem, happiness, more enjoyment of exercise, stress reduction, loss of anxiety, sleep improvement, increased mobility, a loss of depression and in several cases, an increased libido.

Asda Cake Obesessor Gets Cured With Hypnotherapy

"I started to suffer some pretty severe migraines and I guess that was because of all the sugar, if it was withdrawn from my body I felt horrible."

Sweet-Toothed Adam Williams, 29, was recorded 15 stone after bingeing on reduced birthday cakes.
Made to feed 40 people, Adam would take the cakes home with him after finishing work on the night. He would then be wolfing down the cakes with help from his partner.

Adam confessed that "These cakes just became part of my routine, I would eat them like someone else would eat breakfast." And knew that he had to stop. If Adam didn't have his daily intake of cake he would then suffer from severe migranes due to the lack of sugar in his body.

Knowing that it was time to cut down on the family-sized cake portions, Adam seeked help from a Hypnotherapist. Going to regular sessions Adam started to notice a massive change with his diet, weight and lifestyle. 'They were really good and after a session I immediately found myself drinking more water and just naturally eating less."

Virtual Gastric Band in the news yet again

One of my clients has recently been featured in an article in Love It Magazine, explaining all about her experience in losing 56 lbs / 4 st using my Virtual Gastic Band therapy.

In the article, Ellie tells of her life beforehand and how she had initially was looking to have an operation and then recounts her experience of hypnotherapy and the benefits of having lost the weight.

The Virtual Gastric Band in Ireland

Earlier in the year I visited ireland  and met some great people whilst speaking about The Virtual Gastric Band and I've recently come across an article in The Galway Independent which features the success achieved by Clinical Hypnotherapists Fiona Linnane and David Keane.

I know this is very short notice but I urgently need a volunteer to be available for this Saturday / Sunday (17th/18th March) and able to travel to Kings Cross, London where I am teaching at a Virtual Gastric Band workshop.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year

It is at this time of year that we tend to reflect on the year gone by, and I am personally so very grateful to have met some very special people, both clients and Therapists who have touched and helped me in so many ways.

I owe particular thanks to the one and only New York City Hypnotist, Marc Carlin, who has helped organise some great Seminars in the States and co- authored our book ‘The Virtual Gastric Band Workbook’, Leslie McIntosh in Canada for showing me the wonderful sights of Vancouver and making it such a memorable trip and Antoine Matarasso ‘down under‘ in Australia for two amazing visits, and to all the Hypnotherapists I have met a long the way who are really making such a difference to so many peoples lives. 2011 for me can only be described as a ‘Journey’ because I seem to have made so many of them. I certainly know Manchester airport like the back of my hand!

2012 promises to be even more exciting as I continue with my personal mission to help more people to benefit from this powerful tool of ‘Hypnosis’, to raise the awareness of Hypnotherapy as a credible therapy and to make it made available to more people through the NHS in the UK.

Clinical Trials are due to commence early February as Ethical Approval is now in place, and data gathering from Therapists will begin in January. I am also pleased to announce that the Practitioner Forum will be officially opened on 5th January 2012! For those of you who signed up for this, I very much look forward to offering further support and ideas with all of you on there. Marc and I are also planning a number of Teleseminars to help you along the way.

Further Virtual Gastric Band Lectures and Seminars are already planned for the following locations, and more venues and dates will be posted on my site early in the New Year:

Some of you may also be aware that I have been doing a considerable amount of research over the past ten months on a product that aims to improve more people’s lives through the benefits of Hypnotherapy and Lifestyle Engineering. The product is completely new and innovative and there is nothing else like it on the market at the moment, so I am quietly quite excited about it that after all these months of product testing that I finally have the finished product in my hands and am currently in talks with some well known retail giants with a view to it being sold in their outlets. In my New Year newsletter I will finally lift the shrouds of secrecy, and share it with you with an opportunity for you to also help more people.

Virtual Gastric Band in Orlando, Florida

Along with Marc Carlin I am offering specialised classes to therapists, hypnotists, and hypnotherapists from JUNE 3-5 in Orlando, FL at the Sheraton Suites Hotel, 7550 Augusta National Drive starting at 10 AM Friday morning June 3. We will be demonstrating how to do a gastric band surgery …and their clients will imagine their stomachs have been surgically altered. 

“It’s a viable alternative, especially for people who have not qualified for the surgery, or who have trepidation about the surgical procedure”, stated Carlin. 

“This process is the safest way of losing weight in a healthy manner.” The process, which was recently profiled on WCBS-TV News, is a program that deals with over eating in a unique way. “Itʼs combined with installing a strong response in the client as if they had stomach altering surgery,” stated Carlin. AM New York, Tribune Newspapers, Newsday among other media outlets have also profiled his work. Carlin has written and published over a hundred articles on hypnosis.
