Recently a British surgeon conducted the first surgery under hypnosis instead of anesthesia. The consultant surgeon at the Princess Royal Hospital in U.K, made an incision in the lower abdomen of the patient to address the hernia suffer and the specialized hypnotherapy John Butler induced a state of deep relaxation to dull the pain of the patient.
